Jennifer Louis is a visual artist and educator based in West Hartford, CT and the founder of Penny’s Porches and its sister company, Gilded Penny Studio. Created to combine her love of hands-on design with a desire to give back, Penny’s Porches helps busy people transform their porches into cozy, inviting spaces without the stress. Do I need to be home for delivery?
Optional! As long as you’ve provided a clear delivery location and any notes, we’ll style your porch while you’re out and about.
How do I book and what payment methods do you accept?
You can reserve your spot directly through our website. Simply select your package and preferred date to checkout securely using any major credit card or digital wallet. Your booking is confirmed instantly once payment is completed.
Do you ever service areas beyond your delivery zone?
Possibly! If you’re just outside our listed delivery area, feel free to reach out by email. We’re happy to consider requests when scheduling and availability allow.
How far in advance should I book?
We're keeping our first season intentionally small so every porch gets the attention it deserves. We recommend joining the early access list now to be first in line when booking opens. Additional openings may be added if availability allows.
What happens if it rains on my delivery day?
Light rain will not affect installation and services will proceed as scheduled. In the case of heavy storms, high winds, or extreme weather, installations can be rescheduled at no charge.
How long will the display last?
Display longevity varies based on weather and outdoor conditions. Natural wear, fading, and decay are expected and cannot be guaranteed against. Clients are responsible for basic care of any living plants, including watering as needed.
Refresh packages are not included in the initial installation and may be offered for an additional fee based on availability.
Can I customize colors or items?
Custom colors or items are not available at this time. Each package features thoughtfully curated seasonal décor for a cohesive design. However, if you add a request in the comments, we'll do our best to accommodate!
